Product Introduction
GYSamping® Nucleic Acid Purification Column are based on the unique fiber membrane technology. Nucleic acids are adsorbed to the fiber membrane at high salt and low pH, while impurities such as polysaccharides and proteins are not adsorbed. Further washing will remove the remaining impurities. Finally, pure nucleic acid is obtained by elution with TE buffer or double distilled water.

Applications

Automation
The conventional silica membrane has small pore size. Using a vacuum to extract nucleic acids is prone to failure due to low flow rates of viscous samples. GYSamping® nucleic acid purification column has pore sizes of 7 um. Samples can pass smoothly while yields would not be compromised.

Important Notes
- The pH of the solution should be within the binding range of the membrane, and a suitable pH can be obtained through a gradient test.
- If the film thickness increases, the elution efficiency will decrease. Please select the best film thickness according to the experimental requirements.
- Double distilled water or the eluent (TE Buffer) can be used for elution. For longer storage of DNA, TE Buffer is recommended.
